Ashlyn began swimming at 2 years of age. She has competed on the summer league team for 13 years. Her love of swimming has lead her to be a swim instructor at SwimMAC Carolina, where she coached for 3 years, along with helping out the competitive swim team.   

Ashlyn stepped up as an Assistant Coach for the PDS Marlins in 2016.  She became head coach in 2021. She graduated from Marvin Ridge High School in 2018 and graduated East Carolina University in May 2022.  She is now a Kindergarten teacher in Union county. We are so happy to be welcoming her back again this year in her 6th year as Head Coach!

Oliver has been swimming since he was an infant, starting his competitive journey with summer league at 6 and moving to club swim at age 11. Currently, he is swimming for MSA and completing for Carmel Christian Varsity swim team since middle school, qualifying for the state meet each year! This will be his second year as an assistance coach for PDS where he enjoys sharing his love for the sport with the next generation of swimmers. We are so excited to have him back!
